United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to Update National Farmers Market Directory-Action Requested!

by Maryland Farmers Market Association

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) compiles a yearly National Farmers Market Directory, which features market locations, days, times, products sold, and federal nutrition benefits accepted for over 8,100 farmers markets throughout the country.

The USDA is currently requesting submissions to update this years directory. Managers who listed their market in last years directory will be sent a link via e-mail to update their market entry. Managers who would like to submit their markets information to the directory for the first time, or who didn’t receive an e-mail link regarding updating their market entry, can visit this website and update or add their market to the directory in under 5 minutes!

If you are a market manager, please consider updating or adding your farmers market to the USDA National Farmers Market Directory today! Submissions for the directory will be accepted until June 23 and will appear in the updated directory no later than July 7.

For technical assistance, please e-mail more information regarding updating or adding your farmers market to the directory, please e-mail
