Let’s Go (to the) O’s! – a Maryland Market Money Fundraiser

by Shelley Brosius

On Tuesday, June 21st, MDFMA will be hosting a fun night out at Camden Yards to raise funds for the 2016 Maryland Market Money season. For every ticket purchased, the Orioles will generously donate $5 to the Maryland Market Money program. These dollars will go directly to a food-insecure Marylander for the purchase of fresh, nutritious foods from local farmers with stands at participating farmers markets. (Read more about our Maryland Market Money program here.) This year, we need your help in raising more than $180,000 to support the program: if we succeed, we can provide 17,000+ low-income shoppers with bonus dollars to spend on fresh fruits, vegetables, and locally grown products from the 200+ farmers who rely on farmers market to sustain their businesses.

To reserve your tickets and support the Maryland Market Money program, fill out this form and pay in full by Monday, June 6th. We can’t wait to see you at the Yard!
