As the only statewide anti-hunger conference, Fighting Hunger in Maryland: From the Ground Up is an important forum that will bring together leaders from state and local agencies, nonprofits, schools, and advocates to inform, engage, and inspire action to promote equity in food access and nutrition in Maryland.
Through expert presentations, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities, the conference will frame challenges and develop solutions to hunger in Maryland. Topics include: Federal and State Anti-Hunger Policy and Advocacy, Funding Anti-Hunger and Food Access Work, Child Nutrition Program Innovations and Policy Implementation, Innovative Models in Program Delivery, and more.

The Maryland Food Access and Nutrition Network (MFANN) is a statewide coalition of non-profit organizations and federal, state and local government agencies focused on using the federal nutrition programs and other proven solutions to connect low-income Marylanders with healthy, affordable food. MFANN is chaired by Maryland Hunger Solutions.
