The Baltimore City Health Department’s Baltimarket Neighborhood Food Advocate Initiative will hold a day long Food Justice Forum on June 7, from 8:30am-4:00pm at the World Famous Lexington Market in the heart of downtown Baltimore City.
Participants in this innovative, day-long Forum will have the opportunity to participate in workshops focused on community assets and the impact of race and place in connection to Baltimore City’s food environment. Additionally, the Forum will foster discussions among participants in relation to religion within the context of identifying specific issues and solidifying solid action steps to achieve goals related to food access within specific communities.
